Taylor Baird, CAT(C) Certified Athletic Therapist & Personal Trainer

Taylor Baird is a passionate Certified Athletic Therapist (CAT(C)) dedicated to helping athletes and active individuals recover from injury, move with confidence, and return to the activities they love.

With a Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics from the University of Ottawa and her Athletic Therapy certification from Sheridan College, Taylor brings strong clinical experience and a deep personal understanding of sport. A former competitive soccer player, she first fell in love with athletic therapy while working as a student therapist with the University of Ottawa women’s basketball team. During her training at Sheridan, she gained hands-on experience treating high school athletes, university competitors, industrial workers, and everyday active clients.

Taylor’s approach is rooted in the belief that movement is the best medicine. She focuses on personalized assessments, hands-on treatment, targeted rehabilitation, and building joint awareness, mobility, and stability to help clients not only heal but perform better and prevent future injuries. Energetic, committed, and known for giving 110% to every session, she’s thrilled to join the Between The Bumpers team.

Megan holds an MSc in Physiotherapy from Brunel University London and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Queen’s University, where she completed a Strength and Conditioning internship working with varsity athletes. She later moved to the UK to pursue her Master’s degree, gaining experience in both private London clinics and hospital settings.

Now practicing as a Physiotherapist in Ottawa, Megan combines her background in physiotherapy and strength coaching to deliver an active, exercise-based approach to rehab. She is passionate about helping people build confidence in the gym, overcome fear surrounding pain and movement, and feel stronger in their everyday lives. Her treatment approach moves beyond passive treatment and focuses on empowering clients through education, strength training, and individualized rehab plans.

Megan has a special interest in helping women feel more comfortable and confident with strength training, as well as working with youth athletes recovering from injury and returning to sport. She has completed additional training in FIMS Dry Needling and Level 1 Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy, further supporting her interest in women’s health and exercise-based care
